Overview

The Swedish are known for figuring out useful things and making them easy for everyone to have. The Eurail Sweden Pass is no exception. This pass allows extensive travel on the national rail network of Sweden. Available for 3, 4, 5 or 8 days of train travel within a one-month period in first or second class. You can also decide whether you’d prefer those travel days to be consecutive or non-consecutive. Discounted rates are available for Youth, and the saver pass option offers discount for two or more traveling together.

Use it to create your own beautifully designed, easy to assemble vacation using the Swedish rail system. There’s no dealing with driving directions, gas prices or local ticket lines once you’ve got your pass. Trains in Sweden also make it easy to see more, which is great considering how much there is to see in a country that is half timberland and home to over 100,000 stunning lakes. Where, for a few weeks each summer, the sun never sets. And where for a few days every winter, the sun never rises.

Then, there are the Northern Lights, creating a heavenly spectacle. Peace and serenity pour from Sweden, as well as natural beauty. Take the train from Stockholm, home of the Nobel Prize, to the art and design hub of Malmo.

You can even use the Eurail Sweden Pass to travel to and from Copenhagen airport, or to travel from Goeteborg or Stockholm to Oslo in direct border crossing trains, or to receive other travel discounts.

Have your Swedish dream vacation. It’s already half put together.

Traveling on local and regional trains provides you with an opportunity to freely explore. It’s easy to get on a train with your rail pass and find an open seat to enjoy the journey in. Seat reservations are required on many high speed, overnight, scenic, and international trains. Using a Eurail Sweden Pass you may travel on SJ high speed trains which require additional seat reservations. It’s always a good idea to research the journey you are interested in and check for any specific seat reservation requirements.
